Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the dropX mobile application (the "Service") operated by us.
1. Accounts and Guest Usage
You may use the Service either by creating an account ("Registered User") or without an account ("Guest User").
- Guest Users: If you choose not to create an account, your data (including followed artists, genres, and preferences) is stored locally on your device. Warning: If you delete the app or lose your device, this data cannot be recovered.
- Registered Users: Creating an account allows you to sync your preferences across devices.
2. Subscriptions and Purchases
dropX offers a "Basic" (free with ads) and a "Pro" (paid) tier. All financial transactions are handled directly by Apple via the App Store.
- Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
- No Account Required: You do not need a dropX account to purchase a subscription; it is linked to your Apple ID.
- Management: You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. We do not have access to your billing information.
3. Feature Restrictions
Certain features are restricted based on your subscription tier:
- Global & Regional Feeds: Access to specific regional filters and advanced genre tracking may be limited to Pro users.
- Analytics: The "Like Graph" and visual data insights are premium features.
- Customization: Future features such as custom App Icons and Discovery Badges may be reserved for Pro users.
4. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content and third-party music metadata) are and will remain the exclusive property of dropX. Music metadata and previews are provided via third-party APIs (e.g., Apple Music) and are subject to their respective terms.
5. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
6. Changes
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
